Detox Tea
Detox tea can represent many different herbal preparations. From dandelion tea health benefits that you get from an infusion of dandelion leaves to numerous drug detox teas there is a huge range to choose from. Here, on this page I am discussing detox tea made with the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, which produces the green teas, black teas and oolong teas you get in your supermarket.
Did you know? Tea is rich in flavinoids, and also catechins which are natural anti-oxidants. These contribute to essential protection of our bodys' immune system.
Any tea from the true tea plant, Camellia sinensis, taken in moderation can act as a detox tea and help cleanse and protect the the system. The health benefits from a moderate and regular consumption of tea seem to be wide-ranging. It should tohugh, be remembered, that tea itself also has stimulant and energising effects, so moderation in tea-drinking as part of a detox regime is recommended.
Did you know? Tea contains caffeine which is a strong and powerful brain stimulant. Tea contains less caffeine thqan coffee.
Drink tea as part of a regular cleansing and detox regime for its health benefits. Tea also has a diuretic effect on the human system, which means you will want to pass water more frequently when drinking detox tea. This is a good way to cleanse your system and detox. You can replace the lost fluid, which tea helps carry away toxins from the body, with pure fresh water, fresh fruit and vegetable juices and of course, good detox tea.

Detox tea can be bought at any supermarket. Don't think you need any special packaging or blend of tea - choose your detox tea for its flavour and effect. I would recommend looking for a good green tea or oolong tea as a starting point to use as a detox tea, and only take it in moderation, and take it daily.
Did you know? Oolong tea is part-way between a green tea and a black tea - it has just not been fermented for as long as black tea and has a gentler, milder, richer flavour and taste.
Detox tea can be made from green and black teas too. Just make sure you are drinking plenty of good fluids to go alongside your tea pure water, fruit juice and vegetable juice are good to support a detox regime - you should never rely on just tea for alll your fluid intake.
Did you know? Oolong tea and any detox tea are rich in catechin polyphenols, a type of anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants are essential for our bodies to fight disease and infection.
